“ DELICIOUS!! Call me basic but I've been coming here since 2016 And I always get the original chicken waffle sandwich. The original comes with fried chicken, coleslaw, and spicy honey. I personally give it 10/10!!! My husband got the grilled chicken ranch blt, comes with bacon lettuce grilled chicken tomatoes and a drizzled ranch and he gave it 9/10. We got the angry Mac and cheese and that's a 1000/10 so cheesy and flavorful with bacon bits and a little spice. My nephew got the strawberry waffle and said it was crunchy and good. The employees were very friendly and very informative with the options. The restaurant plays current music in a way it's not too loud and enjoyable. The cooks are friendly as well when I mentioned my peanut allergies they made sure I was safe. ”

We ordered two different items and both sandwiches taste great. It can be little bit greasy and too sweet but overall are good chicken sandwiches. The fact that the business use waffle instead of regular bread definitely add an interesting twist to the overall experience. The service is fast and attentive. The cashier helped us choose the right sandwich based on our preference and the food comes out within reasonable amount of time after ordering. The price can be a bit higher than a regular chicken sandwich joint. However, giving the location of the business and overall experience I think it is worth it for a special treat once a while. ”

“ We love Bruxie! We've tried most of the OC locations, but hadn't hit up the Brea spot yet. Well we did yesterday and like the others, the Brea location is excellent. I wasn't super hungry so I just had 2 tenders with the tasty Bruxie sauce. As always, the chicken tastes fresh, juicy, and the breading is crisp and well-seasoned. The staff are friendly and courteous, and the food was ready quickly. ”

Prices are on the higher side for a sandwich and tots. What I Ordered: -The Original Sandwich: This is their classic fried chicken sandwich with coleslaw and is served on a waffle. The chicken has a great chicken to breading ratio and is so flavorful. There's a bit of a spice to it along with a sweetness because of the honey/syrupy sauce. The coleslaw provides a crunchy texture and mutes the savoriness of the chicken as well. The waffle is crispy and buttery! This is a very solid waffle sandwich for sure. 5/5 -Spiced Tots: The tater tots aren't very spicy at first but when you keep eating them, they do get pretty spicy. But crunchiness is perfect and seasoning is a great savory, Cajun kind of flavor. 5/5 -Strawberry Lemonade: This is one of their specialties and I always enjoy it! It's a bit more on the sour side but the sweetness makes it more bearable. You could definitely tell it's fresh and they make it themselves. 4/5 Overall, I always enjoy my food here. They've got consistency, a great variety of options, and quality food. It's just kind of on the pricier side for the portion of food you're getting. Nonetheless, I still really like this place and will continue to eat here when I can! ”
“ Nice little corner spot in downtown Brea. It's a cute little walk up with seating inside and outside. If the weather is nice, I recommend outside on the corner area to people watch, lol. But the menu is stuffed with goodness. I got the chocolate chip waffle with a side of chicken tenders and it was delicious. And the bruxie sweet tea was a great addition to wash down the goodness!! Food came out nice and fresh plus quick. The lady who took my order gave me time to look over the menu and no rush whatsoever!! Which is great service to me ”
